Gethin Thomas

I only knew Geth for a short period of time but what a lovely bloke. Great sense of humour and so easy to talk to and get along with. I was so sad to hear of his illness and his passing and was away for his funeral. Sending my condolences to your Family Gethin and I hope you are now at peace and out of pain x

I was really sad to hear of Gethin’s passing. He was a very friendly and supportive colleague when we worked together in the DG’s office in Border Force. And it was always good to have a fellow Welshman in the team. My sincere condolences to Gethin’s mum, family and friends.

Gethin you were such a joy to work with in the DG Office and BF Sec. When I joined the team you made me feel very welcome and were always willing to share your extensive knowledge, including how to make great tea. You had a great sense of humour and a bright future taken away far too soon. I was incredibly sad to have heard about your passing and you will be missed greatly by all who knew you.

I'm truly saddened and sorry to hear about Gethin's passing. I worked with him for a few years and he was always smiling and had a great sense of humour, with an infectious laugh, that you couldn't help joining in with. Gethin, I only knew you for two years having worked closely with you. The news of your illness hit so many of us hard especially as you were such a loving and friendly person to everyone. I like everyone else was hoping it was not going to be long until you returned to work but am so sad and gutted to hear of your passing. I was incredibly sad to have heard about Gethin's passing. I only worked with Gethin for a relatively short time, but I quickly came to realise what a funny, kind, happy and calm person he was. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and was he always so helpful. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to know him and he is someone I will always remember. He was taken far too soon.
