It is with deep sadness that we learned of the sudden and unexpected passing of Gerry Linden. Gerry was a valued member of Professional Services, leading our Technology Partnership team within A&SI. He had been at Vodafone since 2016 and joined what is now Professional Services in 2018. Many of you will have worked closely with Gerry over the past couple of years. His experience, calm demeanour and technical insight were noticeable to all who worked with him, and many of us have learned a huge amount from Gerry in recent times.

I have only just heard of the sad news today. I worked with Gerry on many projects over the years and he was a great guy with strong integrity. He looked after his team and made sure things were done correctly but always with a smile. My sincere condolences to Gerry’s family and he will be missed

It is both shocking and sad to hear this terrible news. Gerry was easily one of the most supportive line managers I have ever worked with. He will be sorely missed by everyone who was close to him. I'm shocked and saddened to hear this news. Devastated for Gerry's family as I know how fondly he spoke about his wife and 2 daughters from all the time we chatted when in the office and during lunchtime walks in his earlier days at Vodafone. Gerry was a pleasure to work with and an all round good guy. We always had a good discussion and banter about the football and he always showed genuine interest on how my family was doing whenever we caught up. Gerry will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Condolences and love to all of Gerry's family.
