My beloved Jerry, you crept away silently, before I could say my heartfelt thanks to you dear friend. Thank you so very much for everything you taught me. Thank you for your integrity, your humility and your heartfelt compassion and care for so many of our young ones, our lost and our loneliest travellers alongside us on the path. I will never forget your poetry, your love of the Blues, your gleeful mischief at the sight of the Egrets picking tics off the cattle, the joy at the sounds of the rain in the forest, your deep admiration and awe of every plant, flower, and fern on Tobago. Your respect for all creation, and genuine care and concern for those among us who need our care and quiet witness to their pain is one of your greatest lessons to me. Sleep well Jerry. Until we meet again...

Gerry was a very special cousin . We always kept in contact with each other and although we may not have seen each other often , we instinctively knew that we had a special relationship . He was a Mighty Soul that has gone to his Maker . May he rest in eternal peace .

Gerry was a kind, selfless human being.He undersrood that life was not fully lived if you did not contribute to the happiness of others.In his quiet,humble way he would have inspired others to follow in his footsteps.Gerry,your body may no longer be here for us to see you physically but your spirit lives on.Rest in peace,cousin.
