Heartfelt condolences to Sis Schubert and family on the passing of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. I've known Br Schubert for many years, he loved to fellowship with my mom, sister Kriger. He often came to chat after church on Sunday mornings. He mentioned one Sunday morning, before going on vocation to visit his son, that he is content, God allowed him to see 70 years. The last time I spoke to Br Schubert, was when I arrived for church one Sunday morning, he was standing outside, as he greeted me, he told me, with a smile on his face, that he enjoyed my testimony which I gave at our virtual cottage meeting that Thursday evening. I was shocked at the news of his passing, but we take comfort in knowing that he is having sweet fellowship with the believers who have gone on before. We will miss him.

Br Schubert was a very important part of my life as a young girl growing up in the fellowship. We share precious memories as families together - the church services at Shawco...the running around in the halls when visiting...the sing alongs...the impromptu photoshoots ...the many times when  we needed food and lo and behold Br Schubert van stopped infront of our home with bags and bags of food and clothes ( as a young girl I really thought Br Schubert had the direct line to the Lord Jesus as when we were in need he was there)....the many nights he checked up on us as my dad worked nightshift. I remember  his firm handshake...very stern and strict but so much love...his loud and hearty laugh that rumbled from deep within....no one gulped down hot coffee like Br Schubert. The memories are endless. Go rest high on that mountain Br Schubie ( as my dad called him). A gallant soldier of the cross. A life lived with love...a life loved for all...made me today know that Christ Remains. Our heartfelt and sincerest condolences to the entire Schubert family. We love you!

Our sincere condolences to Sis Schubert and her family on the passing of Bro Schubert. I remember meeting him at the age of 7 way back in 1977, and our families became friends. Remember the many outings, drives, fishing and diving trips we did together. He was a keen photographer, so was my dad and I think that's where my love for photography was quickened. We have found memories of church at Shawco, weddings at Shawco, Youth at Shawco, Volleyball at Shawco....we had fun. He was a strict person, but he was fun, always laughed, always gave advice and loved the Lord with his entire being. He served God and his people. I will miss him, but I know I shall see him again at the Eastern gate. Rest well my Brother Until we meet again

He was unique in his own way. Always had something to share from the Word of God. May the family and all saints be comforted...... 2 Corinthians 5:1 KJV For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

He had that unique laugh! I have such beautiful and good memories of your dad. I was very fond of him

Bro Schubert, growing up with you at church ready to teach a little kid, or joke and guide and adult young father. You could easily chat till we're nearly the last ones at church. Proudly discussing your convictions on ANY topic, you were always able to fatherly say "But do you know what brother..." (as you stood closer). Wow tears fall freely just thinking about these fond memories, but I know we'll meet you again. Im sure you're talking the ears off the loved ones who's gone on before. You will be sorely missed. Our diving, fishing, jogging or any other discussions will be missed my brother. Farewell Soldier, The Arends Fam
