We all were so happy to see Gabby back in WSA fraternity and started enjoying your association and contribution and impromptu comments with straight face. Dear Hoda and your family. I wanted to write to express my profound and most heartfelt condolences to you and your family on hearing the sad news of the passing of our dearest friend and colleague, Gaby. I was fortunate to have got to know him and soend time with him at the World Summit Awards jury in Beirut and other cities where he came to judge and participate - and also show his remarkable warmth of friendship and fellowship. I know that he was a very avid reader and I loved how he would tell me about the most recent books that he had read, and his love for good literary fiction. Although I was not able to visit Beirut and Gaby as I might have preferred, we became firm and good friends when we did meet, and I was honoured to have been his friend. My thoughts are with you and your family as you process his loss and the grief that comes with his untimely passing. With warm regards and condolences from London. Ralph Simon

Dear Hoda, My heartfelt condolences! We will miss Gaby terribly – he is and until now was our key expert in all of eLearning in the WSA global community. But more than that his commitment to best practice in content driven applications had been a pillar for the long life of WSA. His thoughtful and kind comments enriched the WSA Grand Jury just in the last weeks. He stayed connected even though the circumstances of life in Lebanon have been less than forthcoming. They say that people who leave such a big mark on the world only have a date of birth. Gaby is one of those people and I have been blessed with his friendship.
