Freek Christoffel

I haven't worked often with Freek on projects but he was always someone that when I met him in the office he was up for a chat and a laugh. I enjoyed our conversations and I'm sure he will be missed by friends and family. My condolences and sympathies to them.

I know Freek since I joined Cyco Software in April 2006. In the period that our working places were close - usually after office hours - we often talked about the funny, but also the distressing, situations we observed around us. He decorated our talks with the slight touch of sarcastic humor that made Freek such a unique and likable person. I hoped that we could pick up after corona. It is difficult to accept that this will not happen. Freek was a great colleague and I already miss all the nice moments we had together. My condolences to Elizabeth and Freek's family and friends.

I have worked with Freek more than 25 years, although met him occasionally. Every time I enjoyed his humor, friendly attitude, extraordinary thoughts, and different look at the ordinary things... I will miss Freek. My condolences to family and friends.

I met Freek around 1996 at the Cyco office in Rijswijk. Freek was a good colleague, it was a joy working with him. His opinion on many issues, not only on our work, was interesting and original. He was broad-minded and had a special sense of humor. My condolences to his family and loved ones. I will miss Freek dearly.

So pity… I remember him positive, smiling and always very friendly. Helped me a lot during my visits to the Dutch office. Will be missing you, Freak! My condolences to the family.

Unfortunately, I never had the chance to work closely with you, Freek, but it is amazing to see how much impact and laughs you had on and with all our colleagues. You will certainly be missed. I want to wish your loved ones a lot of strength.

I have worked closely with Freek on several occasions starting in 2004. Freek was a great colleague to work with. I enjoyed the discussions we had about “het Haagse”, “Freek de import Hagenees” and of course ADO Den Haag and its owners. I will miss the great humour and the listening ear. I therefore regarded Freek more as a friend than a colleague. I will miss him. My condolences to Elizabeth and Freek's family and friends.
