Dear Caro, Hannes, Alex and family. My condolences for the loss of your beloved Andy. I wiss you all the strength in this tragic time. I cherish special, warm and joyful memories to Andy and to our board year we shared together. He will always be remembered by us and live on in our memory.

What a tragic loss for all of us who had the privilege to know Andy. We “grew up” together in ESTIEM and I will never forget the time we spent together all over Europe - working, laughing and drinking. The last time we met was in September last year, over a glass of wine at our friend Lutz Heissler’s stand at the Wurstmarkt in Bad Dürkheim. Who could have imagined that it would be the last glass we would share? My thoughts go to Caro and his family - please accept my sincere condolences. Let us use this as an opportunity to show the true strength of the ESTIEM network and support them as much as we can.

Dear Caro, Hannes, Alex, family and those close to Andy, I'm lost for words by your terrible loss and wish you lots of strength in this difficult time. I have very fond memories of spending time with Andy around Europe, whether it was exploring new cities, working on ESTIEM projects, partying or just enjoying a good time together. I'll remember him as an incredibly kind and warm person, and undoubtedly a great husband and father who will be dearly missed. Thinking of you all.
