It is with heavy heart and profound sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved Mum (Mummy Abati), our awesome second mother, who left us on Christmas night to be with her Creator. Her departure has left a void in our lives that can never be filled, but her memory will forever remain etched in our hearts. For many of us, Mummy Abati or Aunty Ebun (as many called her) was more than a family friend; she was a pillar of strength, a guiding light, and a second mother who stepped in to fill the void when our own mother left this world when I was just three years old. Mummy Abati embraced us with open arms, offering not just her love but a profound sense of motherly care that sustained us through the years. Her unwavering support, comforting presence, and boundless love became the foundation upon which we built our lives. She was not just a friend to our late mother but a confidante and a source of solace for our entire family. She navigated the challenges of life with grace, and her strength inspired us all to face our own trials with courage. Her prayers were a constant source of comfort, and even in her final days, Mummy Abati continued to uplift us with her unwavering faith and positive spirit. Her thoughts and blessings extended not only to our personal lives but also to our business endeavours, a testament to the depth of her care and concern. As we bid farewell to our beloved mummy, we do so with a mixture of grief and gratitude. Grateful for the precious moments we shared, for the love she showered upon us, and for the immeasurable impact she had on our lives. Grief, because her physical presence will be profoundly missed.
