Dr Lokanath Rao

I happen to know Dr.Lokantha when I was about 8 years old. I remember coming out of his house on Castle Street that time, when I knocked at his door, with a full sleeve banyan and stripped pyjama, me and my brothers used to sell coloured tiny fish to him for his fish tank in the clinic. Whenever we are sick and visited him, first thing he used ask us, have you brought a bottle with you? He has many jars filled with some coloured water like green and pink, blue. His diagnosis and treatment as accurate and affective. He has visited my house a couple of times when I couldn't go to the clinic. I was saddened to hear about this death. Though I am abroad for more than 30 year, I still miss this great human being. May his soul rest in peace.

An amazing doctor in whom thousands of poor people had faith. Known for punctuality, always presentable, was the most reliable physician. You were a great inspiration to many especially your life style. My family will always remember you with love.
