Deon Swanepoel

My condolence to Deon’s family, friends and colleagues. I don’t think I can put in words the feeling of sadness and sorrow of losing a person like Deon. Whenever you asked him “how he was?”- his answer was “always good”. He had a true gift of uplifting the mood around him. Thank you Deon for making the world around you a better place. You will be dearly missed and always be remembered fondly. Rest in peace my friend.

So sorry to hear of Deon's passing, our condolences Liesl to you and your family. Deon always took his work seriously and shouldered a big responsibility for a big and diverse family of co workers. After work he was a rat with a gold tooth , great fun to share some downtime with, super intelligent, always got the joke told, laughed hugely, then told a better one. I loved working with Deon and even more so loved to share a beer and a laugh, A man so loved and respected will leave in his wake a lot of heartbroken, shocked and sad people , all of whom are richer for knowing him.

My deepest condolences to Deon's Family. I only knew Deon for 6 years! I wish it would have been longer. His openness and frankness on all subjects we discussed was very much appreciated. It is hard to put into words but he was truly larger than life itself and will be missed by one and all!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. The Knight Family.

That incredible sense of humor is what I think I will miss the most. It was a joy working with Deon, and everyone will miss him dearly. The Nyama Choma lunch won’t be the same ever again!!!!

Really sad to hear the passing of Deon. A big man with a very delightful character. I will never forget the time I met him at Sheraton Hotel in Dubai. RIP big man....
