Deeya Deeya Deeya! I can't believe I'm writing this. Somehow I hear you saying "I know right!" In my mind that's what you would have said . "I know right!" Then you would have offered a nut or something before saying Siri call JJ! Always fun, always charismatic, always full of love and compassion and passion and joy. Goodbye dear Deeya Jaan. Love to JJ and all your family. Your smile shines eternal

Deeya was an amazing woman who did so much while raising her sons. A great teacher she was an inspiration in the staff room and always kept everyone’s spirt up. My deepest condolences

Deeya was the life in the staff room, the organiser, carer and mother to us all. She was the busiest person I know but always made time for everyone she met. She has this amazing ability to make everyone feel special and I feel so lucky to have had her in my life - you don't meet many Deeya's in a lifetime. I have such vivid memories of her laughing and chatting and of her amazing hugs. She'll hold a special place in my heart forever.

Deeya was loved by so many of us, and we are all so lucky to have known her. It seems impossible that she is no longer here but we are lucky that we have our memories of her. My own memories are full of her amazing smile, and her even more amazing food! My heart goes out to all her close friends and family, and especially to her boys, who she was so proud of - may you find comfort in the knowledge that she was so loved, and may it bring you strength in the days and weeks to come. Rest in peace lovely Deeya - we will not forget you xx

I feel so sad that Deeya is no longer here, but so grateful to have known her. I have many fond memories from the early days when I arrived in Malaysia, to meeting up when she came to England many years later. I will never forget her infectious laugh that you couldn’t help but smile at, and how she knew everyone, no matter where she was. My heart goes out to her family. I hope you can find some solace in all the love that has been shown for her on here.

It is so sad that we have lost Deeya. She was a great person who will be missed. It’s hard to imagine KL without her there.

Deeya was a lovely colleague and friend. I have such fond memories of working with her. Her kindness was evident in thoughtful messages or gifts, or being taken out for or a drink or some food. Her efforts to include everyone and her high standards- I lost count of how often she pointed out my spelling mistakes and typos- made our office a happier and better place to work. My deepest condolences to JJ, Hans, and the rest of her family.
