The passing of Noble Brother (Chief) P. M. A. IBOL (KSJI, JP). He was a loving Husband, Father, Grand-Father and Brother. Philip was a retired civil servant that served as a Treasurer in many local governments, a Noble Brother of the Knights of St. John International, the founder of Agiga Secondary Commercial School, an elder statesman in the People's Democratic Party and a chief from Ibil with the title Ntol Akip-Ngon 1 May his soul Rest in Peace. Amen

My dear Dr Philip Ibol (Jnr), the news of the demise of your beloved Dad, Chief Sir PMA Ibol KSJI JP, came to me as a rude shock. Chief Ibol was a devout Christian and Community Leader who contributed immensely to the development of his immediate community and the state at large. Chief Ibol was an epitome of humility, hardwork and dedication to service. Chief Ibol was an astute Administrator who helped to enshrine prudency, accountability and financial discipline in the management of Local Government resources in Cross River State. As an Educationist, Chief Ibol remain a shining light in the educational development of Ogoja and indeed Nigeria, as his love for education led him to single-handedly establish what is today known as Agiga Secondary Commercial School, a foremost and privately owned educational institution which has shaped and produced people from all walks of life. Chief PMA Ibol will be sorely missed. May I, on behalf of my family express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and the entire Ibol family. I pray God Almighty to grant eternal rest to the soul of Chief PMA Ibol.
