In loving memory of Constance. She was a beloved daughter, nurturing sister, darling eldest grandchild, wonderful niece, loyal friend. Constance was the perfect daughter, excelling in every area of her life. She was intelligent, obedient, humble, helpful, diligent and responsible. She was her sister's hero, full of wisdom and exemplifying courage and adventure to her beloved sister. Constance always purposefully slowed down to Grandma's walking pace and carried her bags for her. She was the apple of her grandparents' eyes. Constance brought great joy to her uncles and aunts- she was absolutely delightful to be around whether in serious conversations, playful banter, as a travel companion or while playing boardgames and escape rooms. Constance was a pillar of strength for her friends. She was the steady, calm and brave one, always wanting to do the right thing and never settling. Her friends count it a great privilege to have known her. Please share your memories, photos and stories about Constance.

it’s nearly been a year since i last saw you. i’ll never forget your laughter as i dripped my frozen yoghurt all over floor in uniqlo, searching for something to exchange the shirt i had bought with (it ended up being bermudas you made fun of me for). or in daiso, where you told me my glasses were only for decoration as i repeatedly asked where the aisle headers were. daiso has changed since then, maybe they made the font a bit bigger because now each time i walk in, they’re the first thing i notice. maybe it’s the part of you inside me that bubbles up to the surface whenever i walk into a familiar place. i’ve never worn those bermudas, and the taste of frozen yoghurt makes me sick, but 1 year later the marks you left on me still show clearly. i miss you, and i cherish the memories we made together with all that i have.

hey constance im sorry it's taken so long for me to leave a message. i thought about doing it almost every day ever since i found out you were gone but i couldnt do it i was afraid that if i opened this page again i'd start crying again. as it is i still miss you so much. i think about you every day. i'm sorry i didnt do more to be there for you. you deserved so so much better you deserved to be happy and you still do, i hope wherever you are now you have nothing to stress about anymore. you're one of the most brilliant people i know and the funniest and so very endearing, i keep thinking about our conversations just to smile at the memory of them. even for those few short years it was incredible to watch you grow up, and i just wish that even if we fell out of touch you couldve kept growing up and learned to take care of yourself. miss you and love you for what it's worth. every time i see a taiko machine i think about you, wish we couldve gone to the arcade in person so you could beat me by a mile

while we never really did know each other, other than that one time we bantered over whatsapp in year one, and tbh i probably would never have the courage to actually approach you. even so, i always appreciated how you seemed to just lighten up the atmosphere with your presence and witty remarks. you may no longer be with us physically but you will always live on in the memories and objects we hold dearest to us, rest well constance
Sota Debate Seniors
Dear Constance, We remember the times spent together in debate sessions, staying back late after school, eating takeaway dinners on the floor outside the classrooms, excited to begin. It was a joy to debate alongside you, to guide you during your junior years and to see you guide your juniors in turn. At competition season, you would attend each round, in quiet support for the team speaking that day. You would take notes, listening intently, taking down points other speakers might have missed. You were the youngest at the Anglican High School sparring session in 2018- a first-year amongst third-year seniors. However, that never held you back from trying. When you stepped up to speak, you made precise, creatively crafted arguments, and delivered them with poise and skill. We remember how you would diffuse tension and help your juniors during drilling sparring training sessions. We remember the bus rides, and cue cards, and photoshoots in our fancy competition blazers, but most of all we remember your friendship, how you always had a soft smile, or a word of encouragement for each one of us. Your kindness, passion and bright-eyed curiosity is something that we will always remember. We remember you fondly, and we miss you dearly. —---- Joanne, Vandana and Kavya, on behalf of the SOTA debate team and alumni

Dear Constance, I will dearly miss your energy, passion, wit (lame Bio jokes galore), brilliant and inquisitive mind, creativity, and big heart. You always made time for everyone. It's been a privilege to have you in class. You are dearly missed, very much loved and will always be remembered. I believe you're at peace and held lovingly in the Father's arms.
rest well.

I never taught Constance, but over the last year I saw how first hand her maturity, intellect and oratory skills in Debate. Her leadership style was compassionate as she took the juniors under her wing and guided them in debate. Constance was so much more than just a student, she was a natural leader and loved by all. A star has gone out :(
