Christine Easter

Very sad to learn of Christine's passing. My wife (Charmain) and I both worked with her, separately, in the FCO in the early 1980s. She was always sure to make people smile. RIP.

Oops attempt no.2 Christine would laugh! Very sad to hear & sorry that we lost touch after i moved to NZ . Happy memories of our time together in Washington DC .

I was curate at Chris' church for four years. She was always sociable, very welcoming to me as a newbie, always up for a trip to the pub after church, and most importantly, she noticed people. I was very shocked and saddened to hear of her death. Chris will be greatly missed. My prayer of commendation for her: Chris, you shared your life with us, God give eternal life to you. You showed your loved to us, God give unconditional love to you. You gave your light to us, may God's light shine upon you. Continue upon your journey now Chris, to love, light and life everlasting. Amen.

I have photo of Christine in Anguilla, West Indies .. where I met her in the late 1980s .. will try and get it uploaded to the memory board - her smile and enthusiasm were her trademarks, I remember her with huge fondness .. we spent many weekend days spent on Anguilla's beautiful beaches and swimming in those blue seas with my children. She was the life and soul of the many parties we attended .. Helen xxx

It is hard to believe you are not with us any more and seems unfair as you hadn't finished living. But what a life you lived while you were here! You lived it to the full and I am glad I shared a little in it. RIP

Always a fabulous laugh, so enjoyed working with you and seeing you at charity fairs! You made the most of your life, cut too short. RIP
