Chief Joseph Babatunde Daramola

Chief Joseph Babatunde Daramola, “Mola Man” as fondly called by close friends, and “Baba Oloye” as known to his club & society friends, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 in New Jersey, USA. He was born November 22, 1951 in Lagos Nigeria to the late Chief and Chief (Mrs.) Daramola. Mola Man received a Bsc. in Pharmacy from Brooklyn College and an MBA from Long Island University. Although educated as a pharmacist and working as one for decades, he was very active in politics and philanthropy. Baba Oloye loved spending time with his family. Baba Oloye is survived by: His Wife: Chief Mrs. Dawn Daramola (Yeye Baloro of Otto and Lagos Mainland) Children : Capt. (Rtd.) Olakunle and Mrs. Adetutu Daramola Dr. (Mrs.) Oyindamola and Mr. Robert Ijewere Mr. Kolawole and Mrs. Kemi Daramola Lt. Col Oyeyemi and Mrs. Renautha Daramola Grandchildren: Shawn, Oliana, Olivia and Amariah Daramola Michaela and Alicia Ijewere Ryan, Majella and Tomi Daramola Joseph and Alexander Daramola He is also survived by: His sister: Mrs. Foluke Awopetu Brother: Chief Tokunbo Daramola His memory also lives on with his nieces and nephews.
