Cathy Gerlett

My sincere condolences to Cathy’s family for their loss. I did not have the privilege of working with her as closely as my colleagues, but on the occasions that I did, her deep knowledge, her leading by example, her passion for work and for the people she was working with, her strong female role model combined with her support to others inspired me a lot.

Dear Kristy, Peter, Renee, we never met but Cathy spoke about you most frequently. She was so happy and proud to share with us the first Lucas’s picture!!! I had the chance to work closely with Cathy, travelling in Warsaw, Paris and San Francisco. I learned so much in those audits, thanks to her approach of the issues we had. I remind this period as very intensive days, we worked a lot and under the pressure of timelines and customers, but Cathy was always really attentive to compensate with relaxing moments, so we started the routine to visit each of the Hard Rock Cafés and collect labelled glasses! During my first time in San Francisco, she drove the car to show me the main attractive points and she laughed of my childish joy to recognize all the stuff I knew by the movies... I was so excited to cross the Golden Gate bridge!!! I would like to keep in my mind the memory of when she insisted to show me “the best place to taste a crab sandwich in SF” and so I had the chance to taste the better one I did never eat (Rockaway Beach)!!! Believe me, I think most people in Premier Research feel as me a strong sadness. My sincere condolences to you, Kristy, Peter, Renee and all of Cathy’s family , you lost a very unique person, I’m thinking of you in this difficult time.

Cathy was a wonderful mentor to me during our visits to sites in the US. We visited California and Ohio together. She took great delight in the baked goods at a bakery we visited in California, and made me buy an entire box of these lemon fruit tarts (about 40 in the box). We proceeded to devour them during the work day and at the end of the day looked at eachother with glee and declared "delicious, but too much!". The same visit the building we were in experienced a fire drill. We were working on the 4th floor and Cathy sprinted out of there like she was running a race. I was seriously impressed and when I reached her again at street level she was quite proud she was one of the first ones out the building. Cathy was always a fierce supporter of her team. I will miss her good humor and kindness. She was always ready to answer the phone and have a conversation about everything under the sun. She made people around her feel good. My sincere condolences to her family, thinking of you all during this difficult time.

I will always remember Cathy's vibrant personality, including her 'no non-sense' approach, and commitment to turning every conversation into a learning opportunity, as my original background was not within Quality. She always made herself available to anyone who ever needed to reach out to her for anything, no matter how large or small the ask. Most importantly, however, Cathy always took the time to get to know the folks she worked with on a personal level, and never shied away from sharing the monumental joy she had with being a Grandma. My sincerest condolences go out to all of Cathy's family during this difficult time.

There are special people in our lives who never leave us... even after they are gone; and Cathy was one of those. My sincere condolences to the family and friends, it is really a great lost, but death ends a life, not a relationship

Mrs. Cathy was the kind of woman that inspires. She showed by doing, she was strong and strait to the point and also sweet and compassionate. The perfect mixture of knowledge, commitment and humanity. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.

My condolences to Cathy's family in this difficult time. I've only been with Premier for little over a year now, however I was instantly drawn to Cathy's tenacity and passion when representing the Quality department. It was readily apparent that she was a natural leader and brought joy to all of those who worked closely with her. Her experience and knowledge of the industry was unmatched and I learned so much from her in my first year with the company. She will be dearly missed as not only a fellow employee, but as a high-character person who enriched the lives of those around her.

My sincere condolences to Kristy, Peter, Renee and all of Cathy's family. She sure was a force to be reckoned with, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Praying for peace and comfort for all whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
