Clive Mcknight made his grand entrance into this world on November 11th 1955. He was the fourth begotten child out of seven siblings from his parents Semper and Venita Mcknight (deceased). He was always a loving, daring and physically strong person. From early childhood, he showed signs of integrity. One memory that comes to mind was, when his mother left the house to run errands, his siblings would take milk and sugar from the kitchen but they could not let him know. No matter what promises they made to him in order for him to keep the secret, he would still report what they did wrong when their mother returned. He was a brilliant child and always had a passion for intellectual pursuits. Clive had a lot of hobbies whilst growing up. He was an excellent athlete, a good batsman, and a footballer. He sometimes coached the young men in the community on the Boos Community Ground. He also loved going to the garden, a trait he would have taken up from his father.Clive loved music and would sometimes set up his speakers and play music as a means of encouraging his community. He would always encourage persons in music ministry. Of his many hobbies he also enjoyed reading and studying health. He was able to bring one of his many dreams to reality in his retirement years graduating with a Doctor’s of Naturopathy in Original Medicine from the International Institute of Original Medicine in January 2020. In August 1974 he turned a new page. He was baptized in Pastor Maitland's crusade into the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He became a dynamic evangelist under his mentor, Pastor Mitchell and went on to baptize his three siblings: Gwendolyn, Ann and Frederick in one of his crusades. In 1982, he married the love of his life Koontie Bella Garib out of which they bore four offsprings, three daughters Michelle, Kieshelle and Christelle and one son Michael. They were his pride and joy. He was also the grandfather of four boys whom he deeply loved. His hobbies were caring for his dogs and agriculture just to name a few. Clive was also an entrepreneur, he was a maxi taxi driver North/South for many years and transported school children for PTSC service before venturing into his herbal shop. He spent most of his working years at the Ministry of Agriculture and at his retirement he served as a Director on the Board of directors of the Land Settlement Agency. He was an effective community leader organizing football leagues, sport's days and even independence parades.He could fit in easily wherever he went and always tried to help. He was a person known and well-loved in the community. He served as the first elder for the Boos/Ecclesville S.D.A Church for many years up until the time of his death. Clive partially funded his campaigns, keeping many crusades all over Trinidad. He went on to become a medical missionary where he served many individuals in Trinidad and Tobago and by extension parts of the Caribbean. The last year of his life was spent lecturing and presenting sermons and health messages to his community three times a week even until the day of his death. May he sleep in Jesus until His return.

Dr Hillman St Brice and Phyllis
We have known Clive since 1980 when Hillman served as Ministerial Intern in the Rio Claro district. He was always a spiritually astute person. He had a special interest in Evangelism and lately in The Medical Missionary Work. He worked extensively in these two areas. Once a month he visited the D'Abadie prayer group and lectured in health and how to improve one's spiritual life. He also brought health and herbal suppliments on each occasion and sold to us. He challenged us to go beyond prayer and fast to break down strong holds in our lives. When our prayer group went on zoom due to the pandemic, Clive continued to attend and lecture. We will certainly miss him. He was an asset to this group. We extend condolences to His Siblings, and their families and also to his wife and children and grand children.

Mamey Sapote (Mamey Apple) and Autnick Orange).Forgive me for logging on here.I tried to get into the memories section, but not getting through.The first time I had a Mamey Sapote was when I visited Ecclesville Church, the same for the Aitnick Orange.I always heard my mom speaking of Mamey Sapote.Thanks to Bro Clive for introducing me to the fruits. Ay present I have a Mamey Sapote waiting to be eaten.The memory lives on within me. He was pleasant and always greeted you.

When I think of Mr. Clive McKnight, I think of a strong manly man who loved his God, his children & by extension the wider family and the land dearly. He was a principled and upright man and a great worker for God and also his fellow man. He was big in stature and an outstanding individual. Now that he is gone, the space that is left will never be filled, definitely one of a kind. I learned of Elder Clive Mc Knight's passing two weeks ago. I want to Express my condolences to: Bella, the children, his siblings, nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Today he rests in Jesus awaiting His second coming and the resurrection. Clive was unwavering in his belief, that Jesus Christ will return to this earth. He was a Christian.Thanks to the family for sharing him with us. We give God thanks for his christian service.

It is with great sadness that i have to express my condolences to the Mc Knight family. Clive was a man of God who loved people. He was like a son and brother to the Berkley/ Alexander family. He treated all with respect regardless of colour, creed, race or age. I was in shock when i heard about his sudden passing. Immediately I remembered the last time I saw him, it was in a funeral in Rio Claro. My mind also went back to the good times we had with him when he was given the nickname "seeap". Those who were around at that time will remember that. He took the time to spread the gospel through his crusades where he was strongly supported by the young people in his time. He has left us but he will not be forgotten. To his wife, children, brothers ...sisters and the other relatives, do not be disheartened. Clive lived a good and exemplary life. We'll surely miss him.
