Bryan Rothlein

I first met Dr Bryan when he was the PSV of the South Florida Region. I have always been impressed by his calm, happy nature. It was part of his DNA and his genuine care and concern of others was always evident. He walked soft but had an immense impact on all those who came in contact with him always leaving people and practices in better shape than when he arrived. I am incredibly thankful for the small amount of time I have known Dr Bryan. My sincerest condolences to his wife and children. There are no easy words.

Bryan's joy, optimism and love for life was evident every day. He was always calm under pressure, kept things in perspective and instilled confidence in everyone he met. I miss his wit and wisdom and often ask myself 'what would Bryan do' - because I know that he would make the right decision for the right reasons and graciously give advice without asking for anything in return. He was a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know him and enjoy his friendship.

Thank you for sharing Bryan with us. He made a huge impact on me as a person as he trained me as an IDEXX employee. I am very glad I was able to work with him, learn from him and be inspired to be a better person through his example. Hugs to your family. ~Libby

Bryan always made me laugh. I looked forward to any interaction especially since we could have random conversations about anything. I am so sorry he is gone and cannot imagine the void he has left. I miss him.

I don't think I have ever met anyone who smiled as often as Bryan. He certainly lit up a room with his ever-positive attitude. My last meeting with him was over Zoom. I recall he had a "puffy" appearance and just thought he was probably on a steroid and would be back to "normal" soon. I remember thinking during the meeting, he's probably the only person who could smile and laugh while taking prednisone! (completely guessing about the steroid) Anyway, I didn't know Bryan long, about 4 years, but he made a huge impression on me, with his kind and caring demeanor, and I'm sure countless others. You are missed, Bryan. Rest easy.

From his radiant smile, to his subtle wit, and supportive demeanor, every interaction I had with Bryan was positive and helpful. Truly a special individual. My heartfelt condolences go to Bryan's family.

From the moment I entered the board room for my IDEXX interview and was greeted by Bryan and his smile, I knew I wanted to be a part of this team. It is not often you are fortunate enough to be mentored by someone who is 100% genuine, caring, and supportive. His calming presence and his humor made even the most stressful meetings enjoyable. Although his heart, mechanically, had it's faults, the heart he shared with all of us was the best and biggest one anyone has ever seen. It was my complete honor to have known him. May his wonderful family know his legacy will live on through us all. ~ Skeff
