Brian Kibler was a key part of the SSTL Flight Assembly team and subsequently the AIT and Launch team between 1999 and 2019. Brian’s funeral is on Friday 7th July at Basingstoke Crematorium, 10.15am. It is an open funeral, so anyone wanting to attend is very welcome! The theme is ‘Shit Shirts and Shorts!’ True Brian style!

My heart goes out to you in your grief. Brain was such a gentle soul, would do anything to help me, and always had that gentle smile and sparkle in his eyes. I'm a long way from SSTL now but I am deeply saddened that Brian is no longer with us. May you find comfort knowing how much he will be missed

Very sad to hear of the loss of Brian. I enjoyed our early morning chats about spacecraft, motorbikes, launch sites and the geopolitics of Space. A true legend who is remembered fondly by everyone he worked with. He always found time to explain things to me and my team and make work simpler.
