Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; 21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022) was Queen of the United Kingdom from 6 February 1952 until her death. Her reign of 70 years and 214 days was the longest of any British monarch and the second-longest recorded of any monarch of a sovereign country. At the time of her death, Elizabeth was queen of 14 other Commonwealth realms in addition to the UK.

Today we looked at our special book about Queen Elizabeth II. We talked about how she loved and cared for all children in this country and across the world. One child said, ‘the Queen is with the stars now so she can look at us’. Another said, ‘she likes little doggies’ We hope she may rest in peace now after her many years of tireless service to us all. A kind, humourous and thoughtful lady who has had a wonderful life serving for our country. Our nation is proud of her accomplishments and everything she has achieved. Queen Elizabeth II will not be forgotten and always in our thoughts. RIP.
Violet Class
Her Majesty the Queen had a great life. She had loads of guards protecting her castle and she usually got what she wished for. We hope that she's happy in heaven with her husband and family. She was the longest reigning monarch in British history and we hope that you're happy in heaven. She lived a good life. Thank you for being the Queen of Great Britain. Thank you for serving us through all the hard times and great times.
