Betty's kind and generous spirit will always be remembered by her family and friends. As she battled Parkinson's and Dementia, in her latter years, she continued to smile despite these challenges. She will be missed by her daughter, Lynn (son-in-law, Nicholas Bachinski), son, Norman (daughter-in-law, Alix Bell), grandchildren Lex and Tasha, and many other family members and friends. A memorial celebration will be held in late Spring.

This month marks the anniversary of the death of your loved one. By this time, the phone calls, visits, and cards have stopped. But the void left from you've one not being there is still there. That's why I wanted to leave some encouraging words with you. May you be comforted by the fond memories you shared and from the comfort from the scriptures.We read in the Bible that Jehovah God will: "Swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) Like a father who removes the cause of his children’s suffering and dries their eyes, Jehovah takes great joy in bringing death to nothing! Jesus cooperates with him. We read at 1 Corinthians 15:22: “In the Christ all will be made alive." Revelation 21:3,4 ‘death will be NO more’. Our condolences for your loss, Lynn, Nick, Tasha and Lex. Auntie Betty carried on a long tradition in the family for setting a lovely table for family and friends that was enjoyed by all. She was generous and gracious.Her daughter Lynn (and her family)has brought that tradition forward in a way that that honours that legacy and enriches it. Betty’s spirit will be with us at the table I hope, for many family get togethers to come!
