Patti, Our prayers for strength and comfort are with you as you morn the loss of another parent. Your father was truly one of a kind, truly a man of God, truly a believer. He rushed to our house when my Mumsie took her last breath, to assist us in making arrangements. He was such a fine orator and he adored you and your mom. Patti, thanks to your dad for the positive influence and guidance he provided Sister Josephine Clarke prior to her passing in February’20. He was very thoughtful and kind to me during her illness. May God grant you peace and comfort during the difficult days ahead. Prayers for your strength; and again, my deepest condolences.

In the Bible we read that the testimony of two men is true (John 8:17). I have been in fellowship at Galilee Gospel Chapel for over 30 years and I can truly say that I have seen Bro. Basil to be a man who cares about the physical well being of the church members. Many times he would call me to talk and at the end of the conversation he would say “let us have a word of prayer,” which shows that he cared about their spiritual well-being also. Now that he is gone to be with the Lord, he will be greatly missed by all.

Patti, I cannot imagine how you feel. I absolutely know that Brian, Jonathan, Gabriel and I will keep praying you up. May God keep his blanket of love, comfort and blessings on you. Will always remember Uncle Basil for his unquestionable kindness, passion for God, passion for big words and his unwavering commitment to serving God. Hugs always.

Dear Patti, Words can’t tell how much I miss your father and our pastor, Brother Basil. He was such a kind and affectionate man, if he saw me in church not looking happy, he would call as soon as he got home to find out if something was wrong then he would pray with me. He was really a God sent man. Please keep in touch and I will always be praying for you. Be strong God will never leave you nor forsake you. Dulcie
