Barry loved golf, often volunteering at the Canadian Open each year. He was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and Toronto Raptors. Barry also liked to travel extensively with his friends at work and his family. Barry is survived by his two children, Jasmine and Dalton, and their mother Melissa. His infectious zest towards life will be missed greatly by all his friends and co-workers at OPG.

Barry cancelled plans more times than I can count, the excuse was always the same. His kids were his life, his joy and the reason he never showed weakness when faced with his very difficult life challenges. The reason Barry was trying to make you smile was to become better at making his kids smile. It has been my honour to be Barry's friend for 17 years, he was a truly remarkable man who's values were clear. Father, brother, son, friend, jokester, impressionist, golfer, gambler, inspiration.
