I am lost for words that could possibly console our family at this stage especially when one of our biggest pillars has fallen. But I also wanted to share that my favorite memory with Malume Sam was the yearly debate we had at family gatherings about why I never call him ' Mkhulu Sam ' . At first it was because I was confused as to what to call him but he sat me down and gave me a lecture about why he is Mkhulu. After all that I still convinced him that he's too cool to be called that at such a “ young age” ... he laughed and agreed that I’m right. So Uncle Sam, thank you for being cool; attending a family gathering without you will definitely not be the same. We all would have loved to gather and celebrate in person one last time. May you rest in utmost peace knowing that we are sad today for the loss of your life but we are also rejoicing for the life you’ve lived and we will forever cherish our memories with you ❤️. You’re the coolest.
