Our dearest Dr Baidya Nath Jayaswal, born 20th January 1940 in Patna, India, passed away peacefully at a family home in Brookmans Park, England on the 28th November 2020. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, he was a true gentleman who was caring and kind to all that he met, who helped shape the lives of many people with his advice and wisdom. A medical doctor who dual trained as an orthopaedic surgeon and a GP, he looked after many thousands of patients in the Bawtry area of Rotherham and he is still fondly remembered to this day by his patients almost 30 years after his retirement. He lived his life to the full, pursuing many hobbies including photography and music for which he was very well known. He will be missed immeasurably by his family and many friends but he will live on in our hearts forever with pure love.
