Anne Marie Graves

Anne Graves passed away on Feb. 11, 2020 at Spokane Hospice House. She was 58 yrs. old. Anne was born in Wiesbaden, Germany and lived in England and California before her Dad retired from the Air Force. The family settled in Medical Lake, WA in 1968. Anne graduated from Medical Lake High School in 1979 and then served in the U.S. Navy for seven years. She had two children, Will and Katy, of whom she was so proud, and blessed to see them grow into adulthood. She worked for the WA State Department of Corrections before her retirement. She was a self-confessed "girly-girl" who loved makeup, shoes, clothes and jewelry. She tottered the half-mile to high school on her tall platform shoes and was happy to do it! She loved Taco Time and if given a chance, would get you to go with her at any time. As she told us while she was in Hospice - "Taco Time opens at 10 am". (a gentle hint for us to make sure we brought her some). She loved her family and her puppy dogs and wanted us all to have a big family, true English Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding dinner (with bangers!) to celebrate her life, and our lives together, which we most definitely will do. Anne will be interred at the Medical Lake Veteran's Cemetery. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
