Ann Margret Murphy

I have known Annie-Mags for over 20 years and was deeply saddened by her passing. She was a true friend and colleague who always kept the "Ladies wot Lunch" in line. Annie-Mags organised our outings and birthday lunches and was always the life and soul of these special occasions. She created so many wonderful memories that I will treasure forever. She was truly one in a million and will be sorely missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. My heartfelt condolences go out to all her family during this difficult time.

Annie Mags, what a wumin! Great colleague at SLC & a fab friend who kept us all organised & socialising as “The Ladies Wot Lunch!”. A hard working, strong, kind hearted, funny & gem of a woman! Still can’t believe she’s gone! She will be sorely missed by all who knew & loved her. Rest easy my friend, sleep tight, until we meet again. Thanks for all the good times, laughs & memories, you’ll live on in the stories I’m sure xxx

I was so sorry to hear of Annie Mags passing, it is certainly true that the good ones are taken too soon. The first time we met was actually some time before I joined SLC at a night out in The Woods where I was going to meet what turned out to be a mutual friend ,however Annie Mags actually thought I was my sister who she had also previously worked with! Needless to say we spent much of that night chatting so to then join SLC myself 8 years ago and get to catch up in the office was truly a blessing. She was such a truly kind-hearted soul that will leave a massive gap in many lives. Never to be forgotten, rest easy x

I was so sorry to hear of Annie Mag's passing - I had only worked with AM for the past 2 and a half years, but in that time we had become good friends. Many a long call was had talking about life, anything and everything & I'm so sorry that we won't have anymore of these. I'm so sorry we never did get that walk in Bellahouston Park either. Annie Mags had a brilliant work ethic, always did everything properly and never left anything unfinished - always going out of her way to help others, where she could. My heartfelt condolences go out to Annie Mags' family and friends, she is a huge loss - there will only ever be one Annie Mags. Rest in peace xx

I was so shocked and saddened to hear the sad news about Annie Mags. She was one of life's treasures and I was blessed to have known her for 12 years. Always willing to help and always with a smile on her face. It was an absolute joy to be around her. She will be greatly missed - "always".

It was huge a shock to hear the sad news of Annie Mags passing. She was such a kind and caring person and always happy to have a chat. As a colleague she was someone I could trust and could always rely on for expert guidance and advice. She will be deeply missed and my thoughts go out to her friends and family.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Annie Mags since she started at SLC, my fondest memories of her is her beautiful smile and her aura, she just always had upbeat vibe. She just got on with everyone and anyone. Everyone took an instant liking to her. Any catch ups with Annie Mags always went beyond just work, she would share stories of Gemma and Patrick and equally knew about my family. My heart goes out to her family, she is such a beautiful soul inside and out and will be missed by us all. Our weekly Monday catch up will not be the same without you. Rest in peace beautiful. Annie Mags - loving, generous, great natured. The life and soul of our "Ladies wot Lunch" group, getting us involved in charity lunches organising our days out, trips, birthday fund and splitting the bills. From Harry Potter and bingo on the bus trips, to chips for the table, you helped create and shape the memories we have with your humour, energy and nature. There’s an Annie Mags shaped hole in my heart and I can’t quite believe I won’t see you again. Rest easy my friend you are missed x
