Though we are sad to see you go, we are also privileged to have shared our lives with you. Our first meeting was in Bafut at your house in 2015 when your son Chenwi Elvis introduced me to you as a lady he intends to marry, and I remember so well how you welcomed me with joy and laughed so hard when I told you my name and where I came from. I remember Mangyie Akongnwi was like wow, dad really loves you from first meeting because he rarely laughs so hard like that. I was happy that I had met another Dad. Fast forward to April 2023 shortly after I gave birth to Miyanwi, you fell sick and was taken to hospital and placed on Oxygen, and when the news got to us I exclaimed ehhhh!!! Let Paa not do this to us now and I prayed that you recover from that state and God answered my prayers. Then surprisingly on Saturday the 5th of August 2023 a call came in that you are no more!!!! You died a very peaceful dead, being a man of peace that you are. Its easy to say you are resting but so hard to digest the fact that I can’t hear you discuss with me and laugh again, ask how the kids are doing and always caring for our well being. All you left us now is memories that are deeply engraved in our hearts. You were an inspiration to us and others. We all love you, but God loves you most.
