Mr Hudson….an incredible teacher, a funny comedian and a truly amazing role model to so many! We are so lucky that he was Tom’s teacher for 2 fun years and so grateful for all he did supporting Tom and preparing him for secondary school. Thinking of his family and friends at this sad time. Mr Hudson, I am so grateful and lucky that you taught both of my children. You were the most amazing teacher- understanding, patient, kind and you had a fabulous sense of humour. You gave my son the nickname ‘Char’ 4 years ago and even now all of his friends still call him this instead of his full name. My children have fond memories of you from bribing you with mini cheddars on the year 6 residential trip in order to get full points on his room inspection to you reading out the menu choices of the school lunch that day in the voice of a waiter at a posh restaurant. There’s a Mr Hudson shaped hole missing in Hamble a primary now, you’ll be very much missed by everyone who knew you. I hope you knew how appreciated you were. Thank you Mr Hudson for everything. Sleep tight.
James was a very funny man who was always happy to help - especially with my I.T. problems! He loved teaching and was always in the classroom over lunchtime, helping children with their work. His passion to help the children achieve their best was so evident. I remember him singing along to the songs I was preparing for the class music lesson- such a lovely person. A remarkable teacher.
Mr Hudson taught both my girls. He was the kind of teacher that at the end of the day he had time for his pupils and the parents I remember there was something my eldest really struggled with but when she got it he sought me out to tell me just how well she had done that day he was truely the best teacher at Hamble primary and when the girls left Hamble primary he was the one teacher they both went back to see rip Mr Hudson you will be greatly missed

The Legend That Was Mr James Hudson I was lucky enough to work with James, to see what impact he had on all those around him. 10 words come to mind when I think of James: - affable - altruistic - cheerful - compassionate - genial - kind- natured - obliging - optimistic - selfless and - thoughtful He was all these things and more. It is now for us to keep his legend alive by demonstrating his many virtues. R.I.P. dear James Camilla Wood ( Mrs Wood)
