I was introduced to Santi during my role as Head of Maths at Chelsea Independent College. At the time he was on an NCUK foundation course and though we’d said hello in the corridor we had never really chatted. I’d heard good things about his maths from his teacher so when he asked if he could switch to A-levels, and pick up further maths, it was not a difficult decision. He fitted in perfectly to the further maths group: not only was his maths fantastic but he brought a refreshing enthusiasm, interest and sense of humour into the classroom. He was a bright, diligent and genuinely warm student who was a delight to share the classroom with. He will be sorely missed by his teachers; my heart goes out to his friends and family. Rest in peace.
