Yasho Wardhan Sarda

October 28, 1952 - June 28, 2020

Dearest all, We wish to inform of the merging of Syt. Yasho Wardhan Sarda's soul with the almighty Brahman on 28 June 2020. Over the last few days we have been humbled by the condolence wishes, messages and texts. Your words have meant a lot to us as we mourn Yasho's loss. Yasho touched the lives of many during his lifetime in Zambia, India and beyond as a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He was a wonderful man, who loved his family deeply and he always had a remarkable quality of making people comfortable around him, while sharing his ideas and wisdom about the world. Yasho is now in a peaceful place and, in his memory, we would like to create a memoir book that can be kept by his immediate family members, including his mother, wife and two sons. We will be delighted and hugely grateful if you can share your lovely memories and photos with Yasho here as we continue to celebrate his life. We wish to thank everyone for their constant prayers, wishes & support. Om Shanti

Your words are echoing in my ears that “You are like my Son”. Yasho Sir, you trusted me like your family and treated me like your son, am unable to accept the fact that I won’t be able to meet you again. You were a friend, a mentor, and a father like figure. I always used to tell you that you are a unique combination of a great business man, an innocent and a kind Human Being. You were my coffee Chitchat partner and I have tons of memories with you at so many cafes. I will miss your ever smiling face, and warm welcome at home. You will always be the biggest Gem in the treasure of my memories. You have been such a support and encourager. Often, you used to tell me that you want me to see settling down in London and have my own home there. I assure you that I will work hard to fulfill your words and one day will make you proud. These few lines are not sufficient and can’t describe what you meant to me. Chitthi na koi Sandesh, Jaane wo konsa Desh, Jaha Tum Chale Gaye… Gyanwati Auntyji, Sheela Auntyji, Dhruv and Varun, I am always there with you all for anything or everything.
