Wale Adewumi

May 11, 1965 - October 25, 2021

In Loving Memory of Oga Wale Adewumi. A life so beautifully lived and a heart so deeply loved & cherished, he was an incredible happy jolly soul who gave his all in everything he did. He was hard working, charming, funny, kind, warm, open, God-fearing, friendly, always ready to help, super generous, amazingly cool in all respects and so much more. He was also a superb example of wisdom, leadership, foresight and determination. Gone way too soon, there was no other boss like him and His life was a blessing. He is loved beyond words and missed by us all beyond measure. Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful and trustworthy with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of thy Lord. – Matthew 25:21

Been living in denial this past few days, still feels so surreal. How we'll no longer see you walk into your office every morning in the usual fashion. Introducing myself as the newly deployed control officer from Taraba, the warm welcome, how you told me "welcome home" and how I've felt at home here ever since. How you always taunted me with the name "ISO auditor" anywhere we met, even in the rest room lobby. You were so personable, so jovial, literally treating all the ETs (and literally everyone) as a family member would another family member. How you always encourage me to add value to myself and take up certifications. sighs. I pray, deeply, that you find rest in the father's bosom and that the family you left behind find fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Rest easy, rest smooth, rest peaceful, my bossest boss. You'll be forever missed. Your ISO auditor,
