It is difficult to put on paper exactly what Vish was to all his colleagues, friends, patients and their parents. He was an inspiration and taught me, and many others, how to be a better doctor. It was an honour to work with him - his dedication, kindness and compassion were truly outstanding. It is testament to his beautiful attitude to work & life that so many people have been so affected by recent events. Vish made time for everyone and made everyone feel special. I heard about Vish long before I ever met him. When I joined Birmingham Women’s there was story upon story about Vish - the research fellow who was amazing clinically, wise beyond his years, a photographer and clinician who was able to ease parental pain no matter what the situation. He was unique.
I cannot even imagine how difficult and painful the recent days have been. Please know that he will be remembered by all who met him and that his legacy will live long. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
