This is one of my favourite pictures, taken in Hyde Park on a beautiful sunny day five years ago. We were young, thoughtless, and with a lot of dreams. How many things we have achieved since then! A lot of travels, celebrations, and beautiful moments together. Thank you, Vio, for the human being you have been; it was a pleasure being part of your journey and having you in my life. Now, please, show us the way and light our journey.

He was a great colleague and friend, will always inspire us with his passionate dedication to all.

Michael McGuire
After competing as a student and winning the Silver medal in 2019, Vio joined Worldskills UK National Finals as a judge and gave so much in return. He also mentored the students from Middlesex University on how to train and prepare for the competition. I was hoping he would be available again this year. Vio brought his lovely partner with him to Scotland and I'm so glad I got to spend some time with them both outside of work. My thoughts are with her, his friends and family.
