Uncle Vaughn, thank you for your big heart and jovial spirit. I'm glad to have had the privilege to know you as the kind and compassionate uncle to me. I will never forget how you welcomed Déilen into the family and didn't hesitate when we needed your help. Working with you revealed a different side. Decisive, efficient, no nonsense but still with so much compassion for your clients. Respect for everyone, no matter their standing. While staying with you, I watched you work a full, exhausting day but once home your focus was on Jarryd. You went through homework with a patience and a sense of humour that I admired. I hope to model the love and devotion that you have have for your children with my son. And then you would work some more into the early hours. You were so driven and passionate about everything you did. And didn't hesitate to be stern with me when I was not working to my potential. I will remember your words and continue to push myself. As look back at all our memories together, mostly around a delicious meal with lots of smiles, I see the hole that you leave behind and know that no one can fill it. I love and miss you.
