Dr Violet Cuffy will be sorely missed for her warm and engaging personality, her patience and intelligence. Violet was a fine example of how to represent your culture wherever you go in the world. Energetic, creative and intelligent. She was passionate about Dominica’s culture and heritage.
The University of Bedfordshire Race Equality Network are grateful for Violet’s contribution and the fact that she chose to dedicate time to the network when she had such a full life, with so many passions and commitments.
Violet’s passion and positive action, laughter and unique sense of timing will be missed by the Race Equality Network but never forgotten by our members.
On behalf of the REN we share our deepest sympathy with Violet’s family. May happy memories of Violet bring the family comfort at this sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with Violet and all her family, friends and those she worked with and taught.
