TJ's smile, positive attitude, and cheery disposition never failed to make me smile, even on the grayest or rainiest of mornings. Whether it was "Happy Monday!" or "TGIF we're almost there!," TJ was a friendly face I couldn't wait to see each morning. He would always reach to scan in and open the door for me, even if I had my keycard out and was reaching myself. TJ knew all of our cars by heart, and if you were blocked in, before you even left the building he was calling the person parked behind you to ask them to move. When I went back to the office to collect some things shortly after we started working from home, we chatted for a while. Despite a global pandemic, TJ's positivity never faded. He said he was happy to keep working, but he was sad that he wasn't going to see all of us for a while. He asked me how working from home was going, and knew I was trying to get back east to see my family. When I left he wished me a good flight, told me to stay safe and said he was looking forward to seeing me in a few months. My heart is broken that he won't be there when we return. We love you TJ, thank you for making work feel like home. I hope you're resting easy, and all my love goes out to your family, friends and everyone else whose lives you've touched (countless, I'm sure).
