I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Terry's passing this morning, it was only last week that I have the pleasure to welcome him back to JLR to do our annual audit. I don't often use the word pleasure when talking about auditors but Terry had such a calm, polite, inquisitive and professional demeanour and he was always interested to hear what we were doing so he was a pleasure to host. Inevitably he found "opportunities" for us to focus on and the discussion around what categorisation to apply was always handled in a friendly non confrontational way. One of his legacies will be that he made a better and safer place to work. I will miss his warm smile and calm approach. My condolences to his family, friends and work colleagues
