Terry was one of the very first people I met when I moved here in 2018. I was struck by his kindness, warmth and generosity.... as if I had known him for much much longer. As the new assistant musical director for the Mount RFC Singers, Terry took me under his wing, looked out for me and always had the gentlest and most sincere smile each time I saw him. I also remember the warm milky coffee he appeared with (he popped across the road from the shop and returned with it like magic!) when I “hid” in his shop from the rain when I was supposed to be delivering political pamphlets around the town, confident that he wouldn’t grass on me! I am dreading that first choir rehearsal when we’re back together and the empty void that will greet us there when the time comes...... We will sing to you Terry, knowing that you will hear us from the other side. Rest in peace and may God Bless you and your family.
