Chuen Seng was in the first of my bunch of 'PhD student children', kind, friendly and smart. He struggled with pronounce my name, always had a hard time with the 'r' but never gave up. I wanted to visit Singapore when retired and ask him to be my guide. I'm sad this will not be happening.

Chuen Seng, thank you for the fondest memories together during our time at NUS CME and GIS as PhD students together, the amazing lunches we shared and for your endless patience in teaching me R and STATA. Your humility, compassion and kindness will always be remembered. May your soul rest in peace knowing just how many lives you touched.
