Terry Tyler

September 1, 1964 - January 17, 2021

Terry was first introduced to me and the Abbey Road team back in July 2017. A real gentleman who we immediately liked and struck up a rapport with. Terry was such a nice person, easy going and always on call to assist the team not because he had to but because he wanted to. Terry quickly understood what we were trying to achieve and he ensured that LJJ and their supply adopted the same standards, whether that was safety or quality related. Terry was always first to offer his services and support for any community events and never ever let us down. LJJ have lost a real asset to their team and we have lost a gentleman and friend, but more importantly his family have lost their Dad and Grandad and husband. RIP Terry and I have the last text message you sent me on 06.01.21 where we bantered about the Arsenal’s improved performances over Christmas and you replied “top the league the time I get out lol”. Terry was a true gentleman. He was loyal, honest, caring and above all genuine, what you saw with Terry was what you got. He always worked with commitment and dedication to every task he was given and never moaned about anything. He loved Health & Safety unlike most people and we enjoyed talking about this on many occasions. My nickname for him was Terry Towelling which he answered to without a care. He would help anyone at anytime, and would always be the first to make sure everyone had a brew on site first thing in the morning, and in a clean cup!!! I will miss you so much Terry, they broke the mould when they made you. I hope you have been given the biggest halo, and the biggest beautiful pair of wings as you deserve them, as you really did earn those both when you were with us. Fly high Terry Towelling...…….XX
