GrandPa! Not many people had the opportunity to see/meet theirs but I had the opportunity to know you, love you and have genuine great moments with you. I remember all through primary school and high school as you constantly encouraged me to study hard and make you proud. All the holidays that ended with mint money are all so unforgettable.
You were a friend I could talk to, very knowledgeable about happenings around the world and never afraid of stating your opinions. I remember bragging to many of my friends how cool my grandpa was. You were abreast of new trends and technology sometimes even more than me.
I remember the many nights of watching Africa Magic with you and the many spoilers you gave before the movie ended. I’m very positive that you have watched all the movies on Africa Magic Epic.
I’m grateful to God that you saw me get married and embraced Laolu like your son and also the opportunity to meet your great granddaughter.
To say I’ll miss you is an understatement. I’m glad you knew the Lord and lived a life that had impact. Rest well Grandpa in the bosom of God where there is no pain or suffering but Joy.
