Stuart Clarke

May 3, 1980 - May 10, 2023

Stuart, also known as Stu or Stuie, was a remarkable individual who touched the hearts of many. We will always remember Stu's infectious smile, little giggle, his unwavering positivity and the way he would walk around with a cup of tea in his hand. We are grateful for the time we had with him and will always hold him in our hearts. His kindness, cheeky chappie personality and 'will do anything for anyone' attitude, left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His dedication to his job as a Technical Manager for Tenpin, serve as an inspiration to us all, reminding us to pursue our dreams fearlessly and make a positive impact on the world around us. One of the things that made Stu truly special was his commitment to his work and the people around him. His knowledge of bowling lanes and technical equipment was second to none. Stu was always willing to share his unsurpassed knowledge with those who took an interest. He was always willing to lend an ear, offer support, or provide a shoulder to lean on to anybody who needed it. As we reflect on the memories we shared and the impact Stu had on our lives, let us celebrate the beautiful person he was and the profound influence he had on those around them. Though Stu is no longer with us, his legacy lives on through the happy memories he created and the lives he touched. Stu was a beloved father, husband, friend, family member, and colleague who will never be forgotten. We honour his memory and the impact he made on our lives.

I can’t actually remember when I met Stu for the first time, from offering region support from my time in Preston and Liverpool to being my Chief Mechanic at Bury and Parrswood, for me it feels like he has always been there. What I do remember though was he was a friend right from the beginning. Stu would do anything for anyone, lots of people say that but for Stu it was 100% true. He always had a smile on his face and always put those around him at ease with his calm, laid back nature. When I think about Stu his dedication to work and his knowledge are right up there but on a personal level a few things come to mind. His brew’s, not only that no job or task could be completed without one or two! But whenever he made one for me (which was a lot) he would think it was hilarious to swap his with mine; mine having no sugar and his having loads! Seems silly now but it was one of our things. Then there was his driving!! I refused to ever get in a car with him again a few years ago after a very scary trip down a country lane…again he thought it was hilarious. Stu I miss you, nothing will be the same again. Thank you for the friendship, I will treasure the years of being your friend and I am blessed to have known you. Rest easy Stu, my thoughts are with your family and all who knew you x
