I remember reading the staff profiles on the City University website while I was preparing for my interview in December 2019 and realising one of the team members I would work with (if I got the job) was Dr Stanley Mutsatsa - the author of an excellent set of books that are essential reading for mental health students. When I finally started working at City, I could not resist asking Stan for his autograph on my copy of one of his books - I was really looking forward to receiving the autograph once the pandemic was over and we could finally meet face to face on campus with the rest of the mental health team. Getting to know Stan, even for this very brief time, has been an honour and a privilege. He welcomed me and made me feel like part of the team, and I will carry with me the little nuggets of advice he gave me. He has left a legacy that will forever be remembered, and blazed a trail that will be followed by many who come behind him. Zororai murugare hanzvadzi Stan, may the almighty God watch over your family and loved ones at this extremely sad time.
