I started working with Eldryd 40 years ago when he helped us to publish the Uganda Medical Journal. He loves Africa and spent years teaching in Ethiopia and Nigeria. THET has become a major player from the UK in global health. The world has lost a great global citizen. May his legacy serve to perpetuate his humanity.
