Simon David Cousins

February 14, 1955 - April 6, 2020

Simon will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was a very proud police officer, joining as a cadet at the age of 16 and serving for 30 years in a number of different roles. In his retirement he enjoyed learning to play golf and was very proud to have 'gone solo' gliding. He continued his passion for travel, often combining this with watching cricket or rugby.

Dear Debbie, Sarah & Matt, Pete & Jo, What a shattering blow to lose Simon, and in such an awful way. Our thoughts are with you all - he took such great pride and comfort in you all and, of course, in Harriet, Abigail and Max, who brought endless joy to him. We will not forget the great times and the fun we have had and the friendship Simon always extended. From those days on the touch line, cold and wind swept, the rounds of golf in every weather known to mankind and the heat of Spain - it was always warm friendship from Simon. What a full and varied life he led - made possible through the dedication and love of Debbie. We will not forget him, and look forward to the day when we can celebrate his life with you and the rest of your family.
