Shukla Singh

January 15, 1954 - January 18, 2023

My mum Shukla was a beloved wife, mother of two sons, mother-in-law, grandmother and a mum to everyone in our family. Mum was strong, kind, warm and loving. She would remember everyone’s birthdays, important events and despite being so sick she would remember the dates of all her appointments. Mum taught us how to be caring. She was a role model who taught us to share and be there for people in need. She loved feeding us and her hospitable nature has rubbed off on a few of us in the family as well. Though Mum is no longer with us in person, she will continue to live in our memories, we will continue to cook her recipes and we will always feel her presence when her garden blooms with colour.

My sincerest condolences for you at this time. Bhabhi was a motherly figure in my life. It was the best feeling to have her and Bhaiya meet my children and we all really enjoyed spending those moments together. Wishing you lots of love at this time. Love Savita Pratap and family.
