I first met Sharon when I transferred to 4th grade at Miller Elementary. While Sharon had not been teaching long, she had a wealth of knowledge from raising all of her children. She was everyone’s second mom giving us all advice when we asked. I remember when she first met Walt and how she would light up when she talked about him. They absolutely adored each other. I also remember her telling stories about her children and grandchildren. She so deeply loved each one of them. The days teaching with Sharon are some that I treasure and will truly never forget.
