I still remember the first day I met Shamar. It was orientation. He was entering Form 4. I was going to be his Form Teacher. I met him and his mom in my classroom. First classroom east, top floor of the Secondary building. I remember telling him that the students he would meet in the 4th form came from 3rd form so they all know each other so he might feel a bit strange the first day but he will be okay and then I watched in amazement when he became everyone's friend that first day. I will miss him.
