"I landed on my feet" was my first thought after my first call with Sandi after having joined the same team as her. I was fortunate enough to work with Sandi for the past few months and we grew extremely close in a short space of time. It was a privilege to work with her each day and witness how passionate she was on the projects she was delivering to help empower people in the organisation. She welcomed me into the team, ensured I felt heard, praised my ideas and contributions and never failed to make time in our days for personal chit chat and a giggle. I'm going to miss her so much, and I just hope she knew how special she was, and how special she made others feel. My heart and thoughts are with Sandi's family, she had so much love and pride for Sophia and it was a blessing she shared that with her Deloitte family. Sandi's legacy will live on, and she will stay in my heart.
